Salt and Light Works, aka Salt + Light, has a mission to cultivate community through dignified homes, jobs, and healing to lift the chronically homeless off the streets of Tulare County.

Our outreach program delivers both hot and cold meals to our friends and neighbors surviving on the streets of Tulare County, as well as, some essential items. This outreach happens weekly, Tuesday through Thursday, covering both Tulare and Visalia.
We can’t do this work without YOU! We always need volunteers. There are different types of opportunities, many involving the food truck and preparing and delivering food to our homeless neighbors.
In addition, volunteers are needed for administrative work, special events, community cultivators and more!
