Our sexual assault crisis counselors provide supportive counseling, information and referrals, and advocacy services to victims of sexual assault and their significant others.
Availability
- Evenings, weekends, holidays;
- 2 shifts per month, on-call; 12 hours or 24 hours
- May respond in person to Visalia, CA for forensic exams when needed
Requirements
19 years or older
8-week Dual Crisis Counselor Training
On-call, remote with in-person response in Visalia, CA
Screening Process
- Interview w/ Volunteer Coordinator
- DOJ Background Clearance
- Valid DL, proof of auto insurance
