 Mission Statement

VADS’ mission is to enrich the lives of elderly and disabled adults, their families, caregivers and communities through adult day programs, adult day healthcare*, an eldercare resource center and continuing supportive services for caregivers, in- order to prevent premature long-term placement.

What We Do

 

The caregiver supportive services include: respite, transportation for clients located throughout Tulare County, in- service trainings, caregiver training programs and classes, conferences, workshops, support groups, family and individual counseling, legal referrals, and Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program Health Insurance, Counseling, and Health Insurance (HICAP).

VADS’ mission is one of a kind and is an expert in its field of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. VADS’ adult day cares bring honor and dignity and choice to those we serve and prevents elderly abuse. The adult day programs provide personalized individual care plans which help to restore or rehabilitate one to his or her highest level of function through social, mental, physical, and mental activities.
