Who We Are
Asian Pacific Islander Partners and Advocates Countering Tobacco (API PACT) is a program under a nonprofit company called the California Health Collaborative (CHC). The California Health Collaborative strives to enhance the quality of life for the people of California with a focus on reaching out to the underserved and underrepresented individuals. Our company's mission is to change lives by improving health and wellness. API PACT is one of the many programs under CHC. API PACT focuses on tobacco control and education. We aim to reduce tobacco-related health disparities among Asian Pacific Islanders throughout the Central Valley.
What We Do
API PACT works with local communities to advocate for a tobacco-free life. We work with local youth (13-17 years old) in prevention efforts to reduce health disparities caused by tobacco use. Youth will be build upon their leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
