Hands in the Community

Hands in the Community (HNC) is a local community based organization (501 (c) (3))  that services the underprivileged and overlooked populations in Tulare, Kings and Fresno counties. This includes the low-income elderly, veterans, single parents, widows, disabled, at-risk youth, and families who find themselves in need.

For over 17 years, we have been identifying services that our clients need and uniting community volunteers to provide the services that meet those needs – from rides to doctor appointments, to ramp construction, heating repairs, plumbing, painting, electrical, yard clean-up, flooring, fence repair, medical assistance and more.

Our volunteers are electricians, plumbers, carpenters, dentists, doctors, general contractors, beauticians, youth groups, and others. HNC works with local high schools, jr. colleges and universities to provide internships and community service hours. Our volunteers are of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels all working together to change lives, build relationships, and provide true community values throughout Tulare and Kings Counties.
